Weill Cornell Medical Library

The Weill Cornell Medical Library, composed of the Samuel J. Wood Library and the C.V. Starr Biomedical Information Center, is a completely modern medical information resource. It contains extensive printed materials and a variety of electronic resources to support our educational mission.

Skills Acquisition and Innovation Laboratory (SAIL)

The Skills Acquisition & Innovation Laboratory (SAIL) is a 3,200-square foot-facility designed to improve patient safety and quality of care through immersive simulation. 

Weill Education Center

The Joan and Sanford I. Weill Education Center is a state-of-the-art educational facility. Its 21 teaching rooms, each equipped with four large-monitor computers and readily convertible into laboratories for microscopy, are ideal for small group learning. The Weill Education Center Auditorium also utilizes cutting-edge technology, and features amenities including a modem and electrical outlets at every seat.

Weill Cornell Medical College curriculum prominently integrates computer technology, including text, anatomic and microscopic imagery, video, sound, animation, simulation, bibliographic searching and database access. More than 120 terminals are available throughout the Weill Education Center in order to support our modern curriculum. 

Clinical Skills Center

The Margaret and Ian Smith Clinical Skills Center (CSC) is a state-of-the-art 10,000-square-foot facility that provides learners with opportunities to practice a wide range of clinical skills throughout their education. It consists of two flexible conference rooms and a 36-person case study room, as well as a suite of 12 working examination rooms where students are able to interact with standardized patients to practice communication, history-taking and physical diagnosis skills.

In addition, the CSC houses several task trainers and a full-body mannequin which allows learners at all levels to participate in lifelike simulations. Cutting-edge recording software allows for the documentation of all encounters, and enriches the learning experience with immediate performance feedback.

Event Services

The Weill Cornell Medicine Event Services Office provides centralized scheduling, event support, and a wide array of technological services in support of Weill Cornell Medical College.

Student Housing

The Weill Cornell Medicine Housing Department provides our community of students, postdoctoral associates, faculty members and families with a vast range of accommodation options.
